Mehmet Gokce Bilyay, Chief Executive Officer
Gokce Bilyay, the founding partner of Verscom International and its subsidiaries, has been serving as the President and CEO since December 2002. Since that time ; Gokce Bilyay has led Verscom International achieve healthy growth each quarter focusing on the EMEA region through several companies. With Mr. Bilyay’s leadership; Verscom became the leader player in the market; extended its regional reach to over 50 countries with more than 70 customers. As of today Verscom International operates 3 business lines focusing on different segments of the telecommunications market.
Gokce Bilyay is a young industry leader who has been successful in starting up several organizations within the telecoms industry as well as Verscom International. He started his career in Procter & Gamble after graduating from university as a young marketing team member. After 3 years; he started his IT career through a ad server start-up company based in Turkey. Within the same year he started a software development company focused on telecom and enterprise applications which still serves as one of the main application vendors to Verscom International.
Gokce holds a Bachelor degree from Economics from Bosphorus University; Istanbul Turkey. Gokce Bilyay serves as on the Board of Directors on 2 more companies from different industries. Gokce Bilyay is also a member of CEO-Collaborative Forum.
Mehmet Emir Nil, Chief Financial Officer
Emir Nil is the Chief Financial Officer of Verscom International group companies, overseeing the financial and legal structures of the company. Emir Nil joined the company as a founding shareholder responsible for operations’ billing systems as well as maintaining all company accounting and payment systems. Emir Nil is currently the CFO and maintains a seat at the Board of Directors of the Company. As the CFO, he is responsible for overall financial management of the company while facilitating solutions for the company needs and requirements within multiple corporate functions including financial, legal and administrative functions.
Mehmet Emir Nil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has started his professional career by joining Superonline A.S. as MIS Specialist, responsible for implementing a MIS system and providing managerial and financial information to Business Functions. Additionally he is also a shareholder and board member of Megavizyon A.S., a major retail entertainment franchise with 9 stores in Turkey, and Erem Ltd., a firm specializing in agricultural production and trade.
Aydin Hikmet Pirinccioglu, Chief Technology Officer
Aydin Pirinccioglu currently serves as Chief Technology Officer. With more than 10 years of professional experience in information technology and telecommunications, Mr. Pirinccioglu is responsible for managing and defining the technical direction Verscom group and its intersection with solutions to meet the demands and needs of its companies and customers. He started his career at Ege Seramik USA, as Financial Controller before adapting a path in Information Technology. He has worked at Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, HP, Xerox and Gelgit Technology before joining Verscom in 2003 as a founding partner. He has achieved numerous technology programs and has certifications from several technology institutions and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and International Business from The State College of New Jersey.
Gurkan Ozturk, Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing
Gurkan Ozturk is currently responsible for worldwide sales, business development and corporate marketing. In addition, Mr. Ozturk leads the strategy behind solution delivery and product marketing to Verscom’s global markets. Mr. Ozturk brings years of experience in telecommunications business development, network and operations planning, sales engineering, product development, and product management to this role.
Mr. Ozturk started his career in software industry in 1999 with SuperOnline as software engineer. Prior to entering telecommunications industry with the responsibility of voice R&D and OSS/BSS integration in Borusan Telekom, Mr. Ozturk served software development industry at several positions. Prior to joining Verscom, Mr. Ozturk take a key role at Teletek Telekom holding a variety of management and technical positions, including manager of next-generation network infrastructure, manager of business development and carrier relations.
Mr. Ozturk holds a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from Bogazici University at Istanbul, Turkey and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkey.
Cem Ertal, Vice President, Global Operations
Cem Ertal has a BA in Mathematical Engineering, Yildiz Technical University and MBA from San Francisco State University. He started his career by joining the McGuire Real Estate, San Francisco as a software programmer and then moved on to Wells Fargo Securities as IT Manager responsible from New York, Boston and Chicago branches. In 2005 he joined Verscom as the Director of Operations and currently leads as the VP of Global Operations.
Firat Ersoy, Vice President, Finance
Firat Ersoy currently serves as Director of Finance. He is responsible for managing global financial operations, implementing financial strategies, and assuring the continued financial stability of the company in line with the company’s global growth and structuring.
Mr. Ersoy started his career in 1999 at Efes Holding in, a subsidiary of Efes Beverage Group, investing in Coca-Cola Affiliates in CIS countries as Financial Analyst and served as Financial Controller, responsible for five countries in CIS. Before joining Verscom, he served at Rafineri Advertisement Agency, one of the leading advertisement companies in Turkey, as Finance Manager responsible for all financial activities.
Mr. Ersoy holds a MBA degree from Yeditepe University specialized in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Marmara University.
